About Me

Hello , 

My name is Michael Strickland owner and licensed massage and bodywork therapist (LMBT). I have been married to my beautiful wife for 25 years with 4 awesome kids.

Here is a little back story on me. I have worked manufacturing over half my life. I threw my back out at age 19 slipping 2 of my lumbar disc. As doctors looked at my x-rays  they wanted to do surgery in which I refused. I was put through physical therapy which gave me 85% of my mobility back, until a massage therapist that worked for the physical therapist gave me their card and stated they might be able to help. After a couple of sessions I was able to get 95% of mobility back. Keeping my back strong through massage, yoga, and exercises, i was able to go back to work almost as usual ( keeping in mind limitations to keep myself from getting hurt again) . I ended up wanting to go to school for massage therapy in 2002. As I continued to work in manufacturing and doing massage part time as I could.  2009 when the manufacturing started shutting down It opened a door for me to be able to do massage full time. As I worked in spas I felt like a robot over and over the same techniques. I was hungry for more knowledge cause I had seen what it could do for me. I eventually ended up working with a chiropractic group in Florence SC with a doctor and a nurse practitioner. I was able to learn target work using integrated techniques to reach better goals for clients. I got certified in medical massage in 2019 and started using those skills to help others with pain issues. I opened my own place in 2023. I whole heartedly got into this field to try and help others that work hard and have to work through pain as issues arise. That's a little insight of my background. My name Tamara Strickland co-owner, Spiritual Life Coach and Reiki Master/Teacher. Married to Michael with 4 beautiful children.

Here's a little bit about me: I was bon in Charleston, SC and at the age of 13 years old my family moved to the upstate. I graduated from Easley High School in 1993 and became a Certified Nursing Assistant in 1994. It was in the nursing homes setting where i discovered my true passion: caring for and supporting others on their journey.

In 2022, I began a new chapter by taking a course in Reiki Healing. After working with my very first client, I realized that many people carry unresolved trauma that can surface during energy work. That experience led me to pursue Spiritual Life Coaching in 2023. Since then, I've been deeply committed to learning, growing and expanding my skills to support my clients on a soul level
